A big fuss was made when Facebook reached 1 billion users, and Google Plus has recently hit 500 million users. I guess, through my Gmail account I am one of those users, but I can say that I don’t use it and their statistics indicate that 135 million people use the service daily. One of the features that is popular is Google Hangouts. With such fast growth, it probably would take not much longer than another year for Google Plus to get to a billion users. Do you use Google Plus or Facebook? How do they compare?

I hardly ever use Google Plus. The only time I use it is when we post on our blog and get the option to share via Google Plus. I enjoy Facebook & Twitter much more.

I deactivated my facebook account in January and I honestly don’t miss it. I find it boring so I am not even going to waste my time by getting Google+.

I have both. I can't choose between the 2. I think having google+ is just easier if you want people to find you through google. I also like it if I want to give my opinion on news sites such as news24 etc - commenting. You able to comment through your google plus. I find it different as facebook is more of a social network than what google plus is. Not many of my friends use google plus as a social network. Google+ reminds me of tumblr - reposting pictures etc

I am not a big fan of social networks like facebook and gmail plus anymore. I am on google plus, but i have never really used it. I am also very rarely on facebook as well. I find my life and what i am doing with the people in my life to be more exciting than looking at what is going on in the lives of others.
When and if i update my status, I will post something when i have something really good to say that can uplift and cheer others up.
I just got tired of looking at status updates where people just complain about how messed up their lives are. Facebook and any other social network can really ruin a relationship badly with the negative posts that get updated daily. It is sad that people think the world should know about their problems.

I want to give it a try and see what it is about, some people say it's better than facebook and others say it's not. So you wont really know the difference unless you try it yourself.

I have Facebook, and Google Plus, but i'm hardly on either of them. To me its just a waste of Data. Agree with David if you want to speak to someone phone or visit it more personal at the end of the day.
