Things I don’t like: Hair in my sushi. Staff members who cannot tell me they have made a mistake and instead try to cover up or worse, lie. People who use criticism as a way to try and negotiate. People playing political or social games instead of just doing the right thing. The malicious gossip spreaders and trouble stirrers who seem to cause more trouble than ever do work.
Things I would like people to invent: Earphones and a car kit that as you step into the car it magically unwinds itself and is put into your ears. It would prevent me having to always find them underneath the files and yank the cord until I can get it. Of course, if Mercedes could fix the Blue Tooth car kit in my car I would not need the earpiece. What are your pet dislikes, and what would you like people to invent?

Things I don't like:
People who are close-minded, pessimistic and arrogant.
I really don't like when people only grow their pinkie finger nails.
Cyclists taking up the entire road when you are driving.
Things that I would like people to invent:
A cure for cancer or any awful disease that does not have treatment.
A pocket on-the-go scanner & printer would be great for printing out and scanning documents in court or in meetings.
A cellphone app that detects when people are lying or omitting the truth.
Parking machines that accept cards... it's time now.

Things I would invent: A time machine, a crystal ball that actually reads the future, a pause button creating more hours in the day, a bag full of minions, calorie free cake, trees that hug you back

Things I don't like: People who think they are superior to others. Two faced people who act one way with you and act another behind your back or with others in your company. I hate hair in my food! I hate crime! I hate people that are smart but act dumb! I can't deal with people who allow their dogs inside the house. I hate mushrooms but like the smell of them when they are cooking. Now it just sounds like I am a complain gesig lol but there's also a lot that I do like.
Inventions... We have once spoken about this in our office and it's weird how we sometimes think that there is nothing more to invent but they always come up with something. Maybe something like Catherine mentioned - something you can use to find your keys or wallet or bag. Unless there is something like that and we just don't know about it. What about an app that can tell you what you like or want when you can't decide? I think it could work well if you are undecided about a gift for a friend...

I hate not being able to sleep when I am extremely tired, I hate food that is not cooked properly and I hate dishonest two faced people. If I could invent something it would be a robot that runs on solar power that cleans your house from top to bottom and cook amazing meals every night. A lot of stress is relieved when you come home to a nice clean house and a home cooked meal and you don't have to pay anyone to do it.

I wouldn't know where to begin, yes there are many things that irritate me, and I completely dislike, BUT, I am not one to always complain, to me the worst is a person who constantly complains all the time!!! I mean build a bridge and get over it. No one wants to be around negative energy.
An invention - Using tree leaves to make paper, not the actual tree itself, considering the amount of paper we make use of, and keeping in mind we are not the ONLY company using paper, all over the world makes use of paper.

I hate it when people think that they are better than other people , no one is better than someone else. My opinion is always handle people the same way. The thing I want people to invent is to built a high powered air nozzle in the shower so that I can dry off in seconds, especially in the winter.

Things I wish would be invented: double carriage freeways in SA and a great underground system eg Gautrain on steroids to all parts of the country

This almost sounds like we can complain kind of blog. I don't like people who don't put deodorant on and can't smell themselves! I hate the toilet seat being left up, I really can't stand people hogging the gym machines, don't like waiting. I also loathe pet hair on clothing/furniture or the smell of wet dogs, in fact dogs. I would like someone to invent, and perhaps this is unrealistic but a time machine - more time! My realistic invention would be waiter call buttons at all restaurants, a phone that had signal absolutely everywhere, a dream recording device - perhaps I can re-watch my dreams as most of the time I forget them! Instant washing machine which washes my clothing, dries them, irons and folds them. (as soon as they are in my washing basket) Perhaps a solar charger for my I-phone that actually works. I could go on and on! Am I asking for too much?

Things I dislike: Constant criticism, people who only ever look for the worst around them and never have a nice thing to say about anything or anyone. People who think they are superior to others. An invention I would love, is a stove that can be set with a timer to start cooking, at what temperature and for how long. This way I can come home to a freshly cooked meal rather than only start cooking when I get home. Would be such a convenience.

Do not like it when people are late, A lot of the things you listed above, especially not admitting fault when it is in fact your fault - the sooner you admit it the quicker it can be resolved.
Now things to be invented - that's an interesting one - in this field a machine that will number pages for you would be awesome,

I have to agree, when people made a mistake and always trying to cover it up by lying, when I am wrong about something I will admit it and face the trouble then I know it is over and done. The thing I hate the most at work is when people try to be spiteful and mean to others with no reason, just to be a show off. Its quite difficult to get use to the idea of only working with ladies in the offices, there will always be cat fights with each other and sometimes it is annoying, when we are all actually here to get the same work done. The thing I would like people to invent is cable cars from Johannesburg to Vereeniging, so that we can miss all the traffic and accidents on the road, then all my problems will be solved...
