Now that we are down to four teams only, the betting has narrowed considerably. Germany are currently 2-1 favourites to win the World Cup, which essentially means that they would win it one out of three times according to the bookies. Spain is the second favourite at 22-10, followed by Holland at 22-10 and Uruguay at 14-1. In short, what the bookies are saying is that Holland will easily account for Uruguay and that between Spain and Germany, they don’t really know who will win, but that whoever wins that game is likely to be the favourites to win the World Cup.

i saw the game last night,brilliant opening goal by the netherlands,that has to go down as the goal of the world cup! i am putting my money on germany to win tonight,and i hope iam right would be a brilliant final between netherlands and germany two very exciting teams but i think it will be germany that come out tops,as netherlands defense against set pieces is not good

What i saw of the Semi-final game between Netherlands and Uruguay was great, in terms of deserving to win the World Cup the Netherlands have been unbeaten in 10 games so they do deserve to win however i am really hoping that Spain come through tonight and beat Germany so that it is a Spain and Netherlands Final. And how about a goal for Ramos!

I would like to see Germany and Netherlands in the finals and want Netherlands to win after all they have a score to settle with Germany..Come to think of it many South Africans have ancestral heritage in these two countries, which makes it kind of patriotic.
