What will the new iPhones feature?

With September being a traditional time when new iPhones are released, rumours are beginning to speculate on all the websites as to what this year’s new iPhone is going to include.  In recent years they have not really got that much more advanced and I have been disappointed, in particular with the improvements on the cameras.

The rumours at the moment is that the next iPhone, which is allegedly going to be called iPhone 11, is going to have a triple camera array.  In other words, there will be three lenses on the back of the camera and one of them is going to give you an ultra-wide angle.  Allegedly there will be a laser-aided 3D camera in the 2020 models, but that is not going to come out now.  Putting in 3 lenses on the back of an iPhone will probably not look beautiful, but if any company can pull if off, it is Apple, but I don’t think that the current two lens array on the current phone is that beautiful in any event.  There are some suggestions that iPhone will not produce a 5G phone this year and if that is the case that is a mistake with 5G beginning to roll out in America and around the world, although obviously it is very early days still.

My main thing about a phone is a good camera as normal cameras are way too expensive

This is interesting, I was actually looking at buying a DSLR camera but today phones actually take such great pictures its starting to make it difficult to decide what would be best.

I have not upgraded my iPhone for some time now and I am definitely in the market for a new phone but it needs to come at the right price and the quality of the camera needs to be worth it, as it doesn't help having a great camera but you have limited space on your phone with the 5G being phased out.

iPhones are not for South African market and consumers, they are too pricy and lately can not offer much. Personally I always wanted to have one but the price we have to pay in South Africa rather go for Huawei or even other brand!

The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines the word cult as a great devotion by a group of people to an idea or object(s). Such devotion is usually regard as a literary or intellectual fad. Whether Apple users care to admit it or not, they form part of a cult.

As someone who suffers from trypophobia I am not a big fan of the new iPhone. But different boats for different goats.

Seems iphone is copying other unnamed phone companies, who already have this feature. I am still an android fan. Also the costs of the phone is always to big for my pocket.

So many competitions with phones that it's really hard to keep up with the brands and upgrades. I think people who can not go without their phones usually have the top model and best of the best. I for one am not a fan of the iphones and love android and all the apps and I must say that the Huawei phones are just WOW

When I first heard about the three camera set-up I immediately though that the phone would be heavier and more chunky. That's off-putting for me. And then I think, hang on, who needs three cameras on a phone?

There's a joke that once a new model is released, your old phone starts bombing out. I don't even think this is a joke because it couldn't be more true... Not only with iPhone I might add.
3 cameras? I think they need to step away from cameras for a while and focus more on actual software and device capability.
I would love to see what other brands come up with though. I still won't get an iPhone.

I have an iPhone and I must agree that the improvements have been disappointing in the newer models. iPhone is known for its exclusivity and its price so with that being said, the camera quality should match the price especially now with competitors such as Huawei offering better quality at more affordable prices.

One of these days old school cameras are going to be extinct to because everyone just takes photos on there phone it has more featutes now and room to edit automatically whereby on a normal camera you have to load them up first onto the computer ect before editing. . Its like the news. No one buys newspapers any more they just google it on their phones. If you can afford it i am sure it is an amazing phone.

It would be interesting to see what they come up with. IPhone is really nice but really expensive. My Samsung is working just fine for a fraction of the price.

I guess Iphone is always trying to be the better brand out of all phones. It's no wonder why people pay so much for them. I can only imagine how the photos would look on such a phone.

I not a great fan of the Iphone but I think it will be pretty cool to have a phone that can take 3d in the near future. I'm fine with Samsung the photo quality is very nice.

I am very happy with my Huawei P30 Pro, it has 5x optical and 10x hybrid zoom, Ultra-Wide Angle, Super HDR, RYYB (Red-Yellow-Yellow-Blue) sensor camera and more.
Huawei is also half the price of an iPhone.
So I will not consider getting an iPhone anytime soon.

I have a love hate relationship with iPhone- their prices are way too high and I can only imagine how expensive it will be with three cameras on it! I don't even want to know the price once the 3D camera comes out.

I have an Iphone and i don't want to upgrade anytime soon. Time are changing and so is technology but it's also hard to keep up with it because the more it changes the more expensive it gets and that is mostly difficult for people to keep up, most of us say buy the phone and we will always congratulate you and borrow your phone to take pictures with it and update our social medias with the photos that we took we your phone and we get more likes and comments on them and we are happy.

I have an Iphone and really happy with my phone, always interests me to see what cellphone brands can do next to improve their products. When Iphone is doing improvements to their phones I think they need to keep in mind that the actual phone must still look nice and appealing to customers.

I love my iphone but it is over-rated. Instead of coming up with newer versions of iphones, they should improve the many features they already have. However, I like the iphone brand.

Just thinking of how much this phone will cost. The prices of iPhones in my opinion does not make the phone worth it at all. You have to get a new phone every 2 years, why spent R15000 + on a phone when another one for R5000 can do the exact same thing. No thanks.
