The months really fly by, and I find every year is faster than the one before. The evenings are getting colder already and are fairly chilly once you go outside after dark and there is no doubt that we are heading into winter, although I expect that we would get the usual last minute April rainfalls before that happens. Autumn is one of the most beautiful times in Johannesburg, with the gardens all still looking beautiful and the leaves beginning to turn red and orange and other shades of brown.

I love all the seasons. They all have their pros and cons. Personally I love dressing warm like an Eskimo. I feel like I can cuddle myself :) DVD's and popcorn and Milo coming up! Weekends at home in bed rather than going out. The best ever.

I am really not a winter person, dont like being cold at all. I agree with Liesl wish I could hibernate like bears.

It defenitely is true that the winter and chilly days are here and they come sooner every year, I'm not a fan of winter at all. It seems like the winter's are colder every year

Negative - it's cold, positive - no mosquitos.
I like winter, just keeps the mind more active and keeps a person busy to keep warm. Winter over Summer, anytime.

I love winter but the sad part is I woke up late almost every day someone must get me out of my bad.
what I like about winter is you can wear worm clothes and feel worm unlike summer.

I love winter because we have the most beautiful days with that crisp cold wind during the day , the skys are still so clear.
Lets not forget all the great boots and winter clothese we get to wear. Not my favourite season of the year but I dont mind winter at all either.

I notice every year by Easter Weekend its chilly, but this year feels as if it came quicker than usual. When one wakes up and if its light then you know you are late. I dont like Winter. Anyway its boyfriend season until 1 September with immediate effect lol.

This is a very depressing time of year for me because I am a summer person. I really dislike the winter, everything is so dull, discolored and bitter cold.

I just said to Ivan last night how clear and awesome the sky was - it's like "fresh" and clear and clean. Stunning. It's not too chilly where I sit though :-)
